The Turkish Teaching Center in the Institute of Turkish World Studies at the Ege University is one of the most expreienced institutions in teaching Turkish. The Center has stated its experience in language teaching by “Turkish for Foreigners” textbook series. The textbooks are prepared and published as “A1, A2, B1, B2, C1” levels on the basis of new methods and determination in “European Language Portfolio (ELP)”. The main goals of the text books are to teach phonetics, morphology, and semantics of Turkish; besides the grammar rules, they also provide unique examples about Turkish culture and history.
